Council tax is controlled by the Scottish Assessors Association (SAA) in Scotland
** The Council Tax List is a list of all domestic properties. The List shows the address of
the house and the Council Tax band applied.
** There are eight valuation bands ranging from A to H. The amount of tax payable is set by
the local council and charged according to the valuation band.
** The band of each property reflects the Assessor’s opinion of its open market value as at
1 April 1991, but taking account of its physical state and its locality as at 1 April 1993
(or for new properties, when they enter the list).

Band G-over £106,000 and up to £212,000
Band H-over £212,000
